The Society is led by an Executive Committee composed of the President, President-Elect, Secretary General, Deputy Secretary, and Treasurer. This team provides day-to-day leadership and implements NESOT’s programs and activities.
NESOT operates through standing committees that support professional development, membership and publicity, and the conduct of elections, ensuring the effective functioning of the Society’s core mandates.
To ensure national representation, the Society functions through zonal branches across Tanzania, where zonal leaders coordinate local nephrology activities and member engagement.
Major decisions, leadership elections, and policy directions are determined through the Annual General Meeting (AGM), where members actively participate in guiding the Society’s direction.
The Society is further supported by a Patron/Matron, who provides moral leadership and national visibility for NESOT.
